Description:
An abrasion resistant in-form retarder for poured in place
applications exposing aggregate under difficult casting
conditions. As the concrete cures, the retarder temporarily halts
the set of the concrete at the surface. Controlled penetration
delays the set of the surface only and allows the mass of
concrete underneath to harden normally. The next day, the
retarded surface concrete is removed by high pressure water
washing, brushing or sandblasting. Excellent for intricate,
complicated forms. Highly abrasion resistant and fast drying. |
Application :
Can be used on steel, fiberglass, concrete or wood formwork. All
formed surfaces must be sealed before application of form
retarder. Consult Masons for more detail.

Approximately 200–250 ft²/gal. |

Description:
A general purpose heat and abrasion resistant retarder for
producing exposed aggregate textured concrete finishes of beauty
and durability. No mold release required. As the concrete cures,
the retarder temporarily halts the set of the concrete at the
surface. Controlled penetration delays the set of the surface
only and allows the mass of concrete underneath to harden
normally. The next day, the retarded surface concrete is removed
by high pressure water washing, brushing or sandblasting.
Abrasion resistant and fast drying. Can be used with steam
curing, heated beds, hot concrete temperatures up to 160° F. |
Application :
Can be used on steel, fiberglass, concrete or wood formwork. All
formed surfaces must be sealed before application of form
retarder. Consult Masons for more detail.
